The second meeting to gain community input for the Buena Vista Park Capital Improvement Plan meeting was held at the Randall Museum on March 24th. During the meeting, DPW and RPD presented potential park improvement projects that were developed based on priorities and feedback from the kick-off meeting. These projects included: Perimeter Apron Improvements, Primary Entry Improvements, Perimeter Pathway Lighting, Playground Improvements, Tree Management, Water Management and Soil Management. Participants were given the opportunity to select their top three projects as well as the chance to discuss how those choices reflected their vision for the park. The highest priority was given to perimeter, entry and lighting projects, followed by tree, water and soil management projects.
