UPDATE: New Mini Park at Guy Place on Rincon Hill

Street view of the new park with green columns.

In 2007, the City purchased 4 Guy Place, a vacant lot on Rincon Hill for a new mini park. The land purchase and development are funded through developer impact fees. A park design was vetted through four (4) community meetings and approved by the Recreation and Park Commission. Consequently construction documents were developed and are now advertised for competitive construction bids, which are due Feb. 10th. If all goes smoothly, construction may begin as early as June 2016. Construction duration is 8 months.
