Site Visit and Survey of Green Waste Transfer Area for Oak Woodlands Trails Project

Site visit to review accessibility requirements

You may wonder- what does the green waste transfer area along Conservatory Drive have to do with the Oak Woodlands Trails Improvement Project?  Because we are planning a trail that runs along the north edge of this zone, we want to make sure to separate the utility area with the recreational corridor and to clarify circulation for vehicles dropping off and picking up green waste.  We completed a site visit with Rec and Park Structural Maintenance Yard and Park Service staff in late March and then met with Public Works in early April to clarify parameters for a topographic survey of the area.  We also did a site walk with the Public Works ADA Coordinator to review our plans for meeting accessibility requirements.  Stay tuned for more updates!
