Justin Herman Plaza is located in San Francisco’s Financial District at the end of busy Market Street, and across from the Ferry Building. It is surrounded by local vendors, weekly farmers markets, and the bustle from local commuters and traveling tourists. The Vaillancourt Fountain, situated next to the lower plaza, offers an aesthetic view to visitors. During the winter holidays, the surrounding buildings are illuminated with holiday lights, and the Plaza hosts a skating rink for families and friends alike to enjoy. The plaza has a built-in stage that is perfect for events and is close to the transportation hub for both BART and MUNI underground.
