The project is coordinating the two 2008 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond funded projects (Restroom Improvements and Community Opportunity Fund Project) and will work to identify future, potential project funding.
A Community Driven Redesign Process
The Friends of Noe Courts applied for a Community Opportunity Fund grant for Phase I, which does not include the reconfiguration of the courts but does include irrigation upgrades, grading, and increased accessibility.

The Recreation and Park Department is pleased to report that the renovation of the Noe Courts restroom is now complete. These restrooms are now open! Each restroom has been converted to single-occupancy units for wheelchair accessibility. Water-saving fixtures and lighting were updated while maintaining the historic character of the building. In June 2015, the Recreation and Park Commission approved a renovation plan to improve lawn drainage and walkway, wheelchair-accessible ramp between the playground and restrooms, terraced seating, site furnishings and landscaping.
