Job Description

Under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor, this position requires an individual who has a base understanding of how to organize a league, who can communicate effectively through email, league applications, by phone and in person to parents, coaches and RPD staff. This person must be highly motivated and organized as practices and games are at multiple locations. This person will also have interaction with staff from the San Francisco Giants and must be professional at all times. Must have a valid California Drivers License

Job Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for administering the Jr. Giants program for the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department. This program serves approximately 1,000 children/families. This will include monitoring of practices, training of coaches, maintain equipment, onsite game day monitoring and the ability to work with a team.

Desirable Qualifications

Education in Recreation or Sports Management
CPR/FA certified
Excellent Communication Skills
