This is the most current information we have been provided with regarding the August AC 45 races and the impact to SF Marina bertholders.
We made every attempt to make sure the bertholder’s needs were considered and access to your vessels remains possible during this exciting event.
Obviously, parking is going to be very limited, so we encourage everyone to find alternative methods to get to the marina. We will have three pick-up drop-off areas, one near St Francis YC, the Marina Office and another near Ft Mason. There will be manned golf carts provided by the ACEA at the St Francis and Ft Mason drop-off areas during race days. Your marina vehicle parking sticker will be the only way that your vehicle will be allowed into these areas.
No vessel movement into or out of the marina will be allowed during the actual race times.
We will look at how this first event affects us and plan accordingly for the next event in October.
