Rec and Park, together with the Trust for Public Land and project architect WRNS Studio, convened community meeting #3 on Thursday, October 1, 2015. At this meeting, 4 different options for a new rec center were presented and community members had an opportunity to give their input with green dots, post-it notes and discussion with the project team. A representative from the San Francisco Arts Commission also presented the City’s Public Art Program and how a portion of the construction budget will be allocated to art for the project.
Please see below for the full presentation made at the meeting:
If you weren’t able to join us, please review the presentation, with particular emphasis on the 4 concept design options, and send any comments to TPL Project Manager Philip Vitale, at firstname.lastname@example.org, by Friday, October 16, 2015.

Philip will also be visiting many community organizations in the next 2 weeks to share the designs and project updates and get feedback.
The design team will then take all the input and move toward developing one design that will be presented at the final community meeting (tentative date: December 3, 2015).
