A butterfly’s journey across an urban jungle can be quite harrowing. Thank goodness the Green Stewards help keep up the Visitacion Valley Greenway! You too can join the Green Stewards to garden, propagate and protect this series of pocket parks in Vis Valley. Included in the greenway are a native plant garden, a children’s playground, a community garden and an agricultural garden that volunteers can help out with. Please wear closed toed shoes, long pants and layers. Light refreshments provided. Meet at Rutland and Arleta.
