Richmond Public Library Drought Tolerant Garden

Join the staff of the Richmond/Senator Milton Marks Branch Library, the SFRPD gardeners and SMSF Master Gardeners to plant a drought tolerant garden. This collaboration with the San Francisco Parks and Recreation Department will create a demonstration garden on the 9th Ave, southwest side of the Richmond Library.  Every 3 months volunteers will work together with Parks & Rec to plant and extend the garden with native California and other drought resistant plants.

Volunteer tasks will include planting, weeding and maintenance.  All supplies, tools and gloves are provided.  Light refreshments served.  Please wear closed-toe shoes, long-sleeve shirts and long pants.  Workparty takes place rain or shine.
