NetSuite Open Squash Championships
September 26, 2014 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
The NetSuite Open Squash Championships returns to San Francisco for the third consecutive year September 26–30 with five days of play at the South Lawn of Justin Herman Plaza on an all-glass portable squash court.
France’s Gregory Gaultier, the world’s top ranked player, looks to claim his second NetSuite Open championship this year after winning the title in 2012 and falling to Ramy Ashour in the final of the 2013 championship. The 31-year-old is coming off winning his second Allam British Open—squash’s most historic tournament—in May. The seven-time French National Title winner owns a 379-117 lifetime record (.764) on the PSA Tour during his distinguished 15-year career. He has won 25 PSA tournaments, including the British Open, U.S. Open, Tournament of Champions, NetSuite Open, Windy City Open and Qatar Classic.
The early rounds, comprising two rounds of Qualifying and six matches in the First Round (final 16) of the Main Draw will be played at Stanford University, the Bay Club San Francisco, Olympic Club and University Club. Two first round matches, Quarterfinals, Semi-Finals and Championship will be played at Justin Herman Plaza.
