California Native Plant Society Volunteer Workparty
October 5 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join the SFRPD gardeners and members of the California Native Plant society in a weekly recurring volunteer workparty focusing on habitat restoration at various park sites throughout San Fransciso. Volunteer activities include weeding, planting, and general maintenance. Workparty sites typically have very challenging conditions: steep and/or slippery slopes, rocks and poison oak. Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants and layers. Light refreshments are served. The event will occur rain or shine.
To RSVP, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 415-831-6333.
The California Native Plant Society is dedicated to celebrating California’s native plant heritage and preserving it for future generations. Since 1965, CNPS has worked hard to protect California’s native plant heritage and preserve it for future generations. CNPS actively promotes the use of science in land use and management decisions. Through participation in CNPS, Californians of all walks of life are able to support and engage in opportunities to experience and learn about native plants and their habitats, gardening and landscaping with native plants, restoration of habitat areas, and conservation issues throughout the state.
