Paving Project on Southern Portion of Twin Peaks Boulevard to Address Neighbor Concerns

City Staff Site Visit to Plan for Crossing

Rec and Park and Public Works are coordinating a joint improvement project that will repave the southern portion of Twin Peaks Boulevard, from Panorama to the southern edge of the southern peak. The work will take place in early 2015. In response to neighbors’ concerns about problems with storm water runoff when it rains, this project will include the repair of the asphalt berm along the eastern side of Twin Peaks Boulevard, adjacent to the new Portola Trail.

In addition, we have been working with Public Works and the Municipal Transportation Agency on designing a roadway crossing at the top of the new Portola Trail, as well as one near the top of Midcrest, to accommodate the new Portola Trail and the network of other nearby trails. These two new crossings also will be included in the paving project, pending available funding. Please stay tuned for additional updates as we have them.
