Put down the boxed cake mix and pre-made cookie dough! This class will teach you the skills and techniques you need to create your own delicious home baked pies, cookies, muffins and biscuits, breads, cakes and more! We will cover basic measuring, mixing techniques, ingredient selection, Mise en Place, and production of the baked goods. This class is taught by a professional Pastry Chef who will help take the fear out of baking by teaching you the skills needed to understand the principals of baking and pastry arts. No class 7/1.

Mixed Martial Arts courses for youth ranging from Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, Judo, and wrestling. These classes are contact sports and competitive.

This is a beginning mixed martial art program for kids that focuses on the fundamentals of combat athletics. Kids learn all the forms of resistance based martial arts that involve standing-up, clinching, and ground fighting. Our motto is play as the way (developed by Straight Blast Gym) because training in mixed martial arts should be fun! Kids build up attributes such as self-esteem, self-discipline, & social skills while also increasing their physical attributes through competition and sparing. About the Facility: Richmond Rec center includes a full indoor basketball court, ping pong hallway, kitchen, and one multipurpose room with mirrors and window doors looking out to the basketball courts.

Renting the Facility: The multipurpose room is available for rental through our permits and reservations office. You can contact them by calling 415-831-6800.

Directions: The recreation center is located at 251 18th Ave between California St & Clement St

Bus Routes:  #1 - California -- 19th Ave. and California stop; walk 1/2 block north along 19th to the playground.
