Alamo Square will close on May 10 (Tue) to undergo a park-wide irrigation system replacement, construction of a new wheelchair-accessible restroom, and installation of new landscaping. Alamo Square will remain close for seven months, and is expected to reopen in fall/winter 2016.
This $4.3M project is made possible by the Restroom Bond Program of the 2008 Park Bond, the Water Conservation Program of the 2012 Park Bond, and a generous grant from the SFPUC for Large Landscape Retrofits.
