Call for Volunteers to Build a New Trail at McLaren Park this Saturday and Sunday

Street View of Vis Ave Trail Corridor

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department is working with V-O-Cal (Volunteers for Outdoor California) this Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and August 24, to build a brand new trail in McLaren Park to provide people a safe and pleasant place to walk outside of the busy roadway.

Trail work is all day Saturday and half day Sunday, with optional camping on Friday and Saturday nights.  Help us complete a meaningful project, meet new people, enjoy delicious food and drink and one of San Francisco’s gems of a park. You don’t need to bring tools or any previous experience.

For more information and to register for the project, please see the flyer below and visit www.v-o-cal.org.
