Segway® PT Tour Operator RFP
The Recreation and Park Department of the City and County of San Francisco is soliciting proposals from qualified respondents to manage, market, and operate a Segway® Personal Transporter (PT) Tour operation in Golden Gate Park. Golden Gate Park is the premier park in San Francisco and this is an exclusive opportunity to run a Segway® PT Tour Operation within the park. The currently approved tour route includes stops at incredible and breathtaking locations including the Music Concourse, California Academy of Sciences, the de Young Museum, the Japanese Tea Garden, the Conservatory of Flowers, Botanical Gardens, Stow Lake, and numerous little known discoveries.
Recreation and Park Department provides Golden Gate Park visitors the opportunity to participate in Segway® PT Tours through a selected Segway® PT Tour operator who leases a location behind bandshell at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park. The lease for the current Segway® PT Tour operator has expired and we will be selecting an operator to continue to provide these tour services based on responses to our Request For Proposal (RFP).
